Who and Why.

In 2023, Scotland hosted the UCI Cycling World Championships, with the event headquartered in Glasgow and supported by communities across the country. Our brief was to create documentary-style video content that built positive awareness around the transformational power of riding a bike - while also increasing public understanding and excitement ahead of the Championships themselves.

Our Documentary-Style Approach.

At Walker Creative, we specialise in documentary-style video production in Edinburgh and across Scotland, crafting authentic storytelling films that capture real people, real voices, and real experiences.

For this project, our role was to document the human stories behind cycling - stories of resilience, connection, and personal change - and present them in a way that felt honest, inspiring and authentic.

From a deeply personal story of a young woman’s cancer battle, to an inspiring and uplifting story of one man giving back to his community, we captured the human-stories that reflect the spirit of cycling in Scotland.

How We Work On Documentary-style Video Content.

Our documentary video process is built on empathy and trust.
We take time to listen deeply to contributors, handling sensitive topics with care and respect. By forming genuine connections—often leading to long-lasting friendships—we ensure each story is told accurately, truthfully, and with emotional impact.

Whether producing documentary-style brand videos, community-focused films, or large-scale event storytelling, we bring dedication, creativity and technical excellence to every project.
